You have to attend free counseling at SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) campus to get adequate knowledge about Merchant Navy, its courses and fee structure. Also we have paid online counseling facility with a nominal fee.

A complete application form should be submitted to the consultancy along with the registration fee of Rs. 5000/- (Five thousand only) which is non-refundable and self-attested photocopies of relevant documents.

Documents Required

  1. Valid Passport 
  2. 10th pass or equivalent certificate with mark sheet
  3. Other educational certificates (Technical/Non-Technical) if available
  4. Aadhar Card
  5. Passport size(3.5*3.5cm) color photos (face should cover 70% of photo) with white background and format(single color) shirt – 8nos

Note: After proper registration, SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) will intimate the class commencing date and location

Selection procedure

The intake capacity of the SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) is 24(Twenty Four) students every Month.

  1. Initially SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) will apply candidates INDOS Number ( Indian National Data Base of  Seafarers), which is mandatory before getting into the training and it will be issued by INDOS (Indian National Data Base of  Seafarers) cell, Mumbai, Govt. of India. After issuing the INDOS (Indian National Data Base of  Seafarers) number by the issuing Authority it can be checked online with Govt. Site by the candidates for the authentication.
  2. After getting the INDOS (Indian National Data Base of  Seafarers) number SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) will intimate the place and schedule of the Training for STCW-2010 courses. The training should continue for 16 days excluding Sunday and National Holidays. On completion of Training, the said training center will issue Course completion certificates. (Transportation, lodging & food expenses will be borne by trainee whereas SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) will arrange share base accommodation and normal food at nominal cost).
  3. After completion of the above training SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) will apply INDIAN CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate) where the issuing authorities of the CDC are MMD KOLKATTA/ MMD CHENNAI / MMD MUMBAI. The procedure may take 15 to 30 days and after receiving the CDC it may check online through a valid Govt. site for authentication. Following documents’ color soft copy in PDF format should be required for applying INDIAN CDC.
  • Valid Passport Scan copy (1st,2nd, and last pages)
  • Adhar Card
  • 10th/Matriculation certificate with mark sheet
  • DG approved Doctors Medical Certificate(if not SGC will guide to get a certificate from its Tie-up doctors
  • Basic STCW certificates and SSTDS certificates.

JOB PROSPECTS (Onboard Training)

After getting CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate) from issuing Authority SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) will arrange JOB (Onboard Training) in India or Abroad with nominal charges through its principal Companies. Where the candidate will get Salary (Food Accommodation Free). After joining the ship the joining details will be online through the Tie Up  RPSL (Recruitment and Placement Services Licence) agency where the details can check through E-Governance.

CONCLUSION

SGC (Sri Guru Consultants) will arrange training and 100% job for Merchant Navy. The shame should be signed by both parties as a mutual agreement at the time of  Registration.

And No fees can be refundable/claimable/resettle/transferable at any cost.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. After completion of successful STCW-2010 courses and CDC SGC, will arrange a job in India and Abroad.
  2. SGC is not responsible or accountable for any sort of financial dealing between the candidate and the company.
  3. The candidate shall abide by the conditions specified by the company for onboard training.
  4. SGC shall not be responsible or accountable, for any accidental death, loss of limbs, injury to the candidates during his tenure in onboard training.
  5. That the candidates shall be responsible for any misconduct such as duplicating, forging of documents, C.D.C, passport, etc and causing loss or damage to the company where he is joined.
  6. SGC is not responsible, in case the candidate voluntarily withdraws from the job without completing the stipulated contractual period. Candidates shall not be entitled for any compensation loss or damage during the period of his job in onboard training relating to inconvenience or loss sustained without intimating the SGC by assigning sufficient and satisfactory reasons for such inconvenience, loss, and reasons for withdrawals during the middle of the session.
  7. Any disputes arise within the jurisdiction of Berhampur, Ganjam only.
